A decade into his
early retirement, Dylan Massey is enjoying an idyllic life in the forest with
his Husky dog, organic vegetable garden, and a dozen pot plants. His world crashes down, however, when the
mother of a missing girl believes Dylan is involved in her disappearance.
While being hunted
for kidnapping, murder and assault on an officer, Dylan speeds through the
unexpected twists and turns of car chases with drag queens, back-alley drug
deals, seedy strip clubs, the Seattle art scene and the path of a hired killer
with girlfriend problems.
Longing for a return to his peaceful isolation, Dylan delves deep into the smoke-choked marijuana culture of the Pacific Northwest and struggles to discover some light of truth through all of the haze.
